Color coding needs to be improved. I agree with other comments. BUT please use the standard colors or make it user selectable. For mountain biking the standard colors are:
- red - singletrack
- green - carriage way, double track
- blue - unsurfaced road, macadam road or way
- black - surfaced road or way
This can be a workaround for the other critical missing feature below, e.g. "Here do not follow Komoot, turn left right after the end of forest on a nice single track not on the map!"
The time has come: We have come up with a solution that will enable you to route, plan and navigate outside of the regular road and path network. Some of you may ask yourselves why this update has taken so long. Well, as we understand that you love komoot for its simplicity and reliability, we wanted to build nothing less than a perfect solution that would fit in seamlessly with our app. There are enough fiddly solutions that only partially work out there.
So stay tuned: You’ll find the new features on all platforms come spring. Simple, seamless, reliable – just like the rest of komoot.
We’re looking forward to it!
I've only started using Komoot and this problem is making me looking for another app. This is a critical missing feature. Yes, you can adjust the blue line to match the red, but not if the track is not on the Komoot map. User should be able to adjust the blue line freely.
Another even better solution would be to have an option when importing not to fit the track to the map at all.
BUT pay attention - neither the original poster nor the admin reply make any sense. Please, read the comments.
