Hi, you can fix the map by going to openstreetmap.org then the change will be available in the next 3-4 weeks

Hi, you just need to create a public tour and share the link.

Hello, the map is based on openstreetmap.org. you can edit it for free if there are errors on map (e.g. route not allowed for bike) and they will appear in komoot after 4 weeks at most

    Hello,
The right way to fix this is to visit openstreetmap.org and to edit map there - add the path between points (you will need a free registration)
    Have a great day

    Hi,
Actually this is internationalization - it depends on the settings of the browsers you are using. You can override the browser's settings using komoot settings:
    https://www.komoot.com/account

    Have a wonderful weekend!

You can easily add it to openstreetmap.org and it will appear after about a week in komoot

First time I think about the same, but actually there is such contribution - https://www.komoot.com/imprint :

    Special thanks to…

    Hi,
You can download the gpx files of the tours recorded by the user. Unfortunately you can't search for them. I was looking for this functionality too.
Btw you can always search them in Google by keywords starting with komoot, e.g. komoot musala
And you probably you will find the tour if someone is using provided keywords so be more expressive when you name your tours so people can find them :-)
Once the tour is found (in the web version) you can select "Export To GPS Device" button at the near bottom of the page.
    Good luck!

You can use the tours search together with special words added to the tour name.
But it will be better to have some kind of tagging (maybe this will be better than folders)

You can plan a tour from the application or you can upload gpx file created from somewhere else

Yes, you can use one GUI (visual tool) https://github.com/metadirective/GPicSync (there is command line version).
For Linux I use the command
    gpscorrelate -file.gpx -O -10800 *.jpg
Where you can provide the exact offset between camera's clock and gps's clock

Hello, are you sure that your phone supports ant+? ( https://www.thisisant.com/consumer/ant-101/ant-in-phones )
The newer Garmin devices supports wifi and Bluetooth and you can choose the gps receiver (either internal phone gps or external) from the phone.

    Hello,
Komoot internally uses open street map so you can edit the map at openstreetmap.org (free registration is required) and it will be updated after approximately 1-3 weeks in komoot.
    Enjoy!

Later this can be used by komoot users to create beautiful travel diary about their tours - including text for specific point\segment, photos, location, time/duration to get there, etc.

    Plamen commented  ·

I can think of another option: what if tour comments can be not only a text but a text with a point or a segment attached to the text

    Plamen commented  ·

Something like "notes", "warnings", etc - for a point or a segment

This will enable people to create some kind of a travel history, e.g. here we've seen an animal steps; we have met a shepherd who told us a story about ... Etc
