Display deactivates during Tour

You need to use the display for navigation, but it turns off?

Tap on the direction arrow on the bottom left of the map view to activate it and the card will be directed (one tap: centered & to the North, two taps: centered and into the direction you travel). The display will now remain activated.

If that doesn't work, please check the following points:

iPhone:
  • Your device has a compass (iPhone 3GS and above)
  • You allowed location access for komoot (>settings >komoot > Location)
  • Your compass is calibrated
  • Did you calibrate the compass using figure 8 movements?
  • Do you have the latest iOS and app version?
  • Did you restart the app and your phone and the problem remains?
  • Are there magnetic items close to the app (i.e. powerbank, bag with a magnetic lock)?
Android:
  • Your device has a compass (Check the technical details)
  • You allowed location access for komoot (> Settings > Location)
  • Do you have the latest Android and app version?
  • Die Ortungsdienste sind aktiviert? (> Einstellungen > Standort)
  • Sind die neusten Versionen von Android und der komoot App installiert?
  • Did you restart the app and your phone and the problem remains?
  • Are there magnetic items close to the app (i.e. powerbank, bag with a magnetic lock)?
