Add "home" highlight / Save personal addresses
There should be a way to save custom points like "home" for example, and maybe others.
Right now, I plan routes starting from my home to various places in the area and I have to type my address every time to set the start point. If I had my custom points in "Saved highlights", this would save time and make the app more usable.
thanks a lot for this interesting idea!
We’ll see what we can do to implement it. Should there be any plans here, we’ll post a respective update.

This is such a basic feature, that appears on the web site but there is no way to save a place!
Any luck with this feature? If I ride my MTB to the middle of an area it would be great if I could place a waypoint so I could find my car again? It's a bit naughty that I need to use google maps to navigate back to my car.

Any news aboutr this feature request ... It's been a while since it was first posted and this seems a real basi feature for Komoot ... looking forward to your reply ... and even more to implementation.
Wait! What? Is this for real? This request was made nearly THREE Years ago!
Are we really saying that it's *still not possible* to manually create "Saved Places" via the web interface or iOS/Android app by typing in a street address or LAT/LON?
I second this idea. IT would be very usefull to be able to save and store „my places”.
Yes definately need this option...
It woul dbe very useful to have personal highligts shown on the ma like it happens for the web version instead of only classic and not always updated waypoints.
This would be a huge plus for me: Being able to save friend's places or special locations that I want to include in my rides would be a great help. When planning long tours (e.g. across Europe), I would like to save some fixed points where I know I will be staying overnight but then have the ease of trying out alternative routes easily without having to re-enter the locations again and again.
