Color Codes for Komoot Outdoor map
The 'Komoot Outdoor' map is great. However, in the zoomed mode it is hard to distinguish the roads (K and L Strasse) from the main hike/bike trails. The width is different but both are white. You've done a good job to distinguish single trails (black) from the main hike/bike trails. It would be good to choose another color for the K and L Strasse.
Missing better path color coding as well. I prefer hiking paths when trail running so i have to just make a route and only after that I'll see what type the path is.
Color coding needs to be improved. I agree with other comments. BUT please use the standard colors or make it user selectable. For mountain biking the standard colors are:
- red - singletrack
- green - carriage way, double track
- blue - unsurfaced road, macadam road or way
- black - surfaced road or way
bike legal / bikeable trails need to be distinguishable from hiking trails, particularly where the data is already available in OSM, especially in jurisdictions (US, Europe, others) where there are laws/fines/guns/respect to consider in the choice of route to take.
Completely agree, when using a phone you cannot distinguish if something is a road, a footpath, or a disused railway line/road in many instances. Please make it easier to differentiate. Even if it's just to show the difference from roads to the rest. Thanks
