Routing on sidewalks

I paid for the all-routes version of the app. I want to plan a running and hiking route that includes paved paths which run through open fields. But when I try to add the waypoint, Komoot automatically changes my route to include streets. I don't want to route on those streets at all. Dragging the markers doesn't help -- Komoot still insists on routing me on streets even though the paths appear on the map. Is there a way around this?

Really, this insistence on actually going back to a paved street even after we've laid down waypoints to follow a trail is a major failing. Please listen up. Runkeeper respects my decision in this regard, and its free version can be used anywhere on earth. It gives you the option to snap to roads when you want to, exponentially facilitating a route planning when you want to include a road. Please don't make me regret my decision to pay for the All-Routes, All-Region version. In its current version, it's giving me far less than the free app. Thanks.
