I suggest you ...

Distinguish paved vs. unpaved roads

As a road cyclist I am mostly concerned about the road surface, in particular whether the surface is paved or unpaved.
Komoot doesn't distinguish this very well on smaller road.

I typically have to resort to openstreetmap to get a detailed view on where I want to cycle in the planning phase. However, the map is rendered nowhere as nice as on komoot.

Since komoot focuses mainly on non motorized traffice I think this distinction should be an important part of the map.

Maps.me app has broken lines for off road trails /unpaved routes on its maps.. But it can not easily use them. Its GPS navigation while cycling is far superior to komoot, and its maps are nice to look at as you can see the trails... While trying to make a 60km off road route on komoot I need to spend hours on Google earth to see if its a dirt track or country lane...what started in the forest didn't actually finish on tracks, only ten percent maybe.. But I nearly went off exploring the route.. I do not want to spend hours in traffic...This is an app killer for me.. I paid a lot of money for an app I can't really use.. Maps.me. Can't plan trips in the way komoot can, but i you want off road I have to use it to make sure...
